  25.     If it helps, here is a true story which might apply. My faithful
  26. desktop 486-66 started to stumble upon morning powerup. Some days it would
  27. take a minute or so for the keyboard lights to flash and booting to progress.
  28. Once up it would restart effortlessly. After checking everything, including
  29. measuring the power supply voltages, it dawned on me to check the AC on the
  30. power wires. Sure enough, lots of ripple as the power supply moved into
  31. computer old-age. Replacment of the power supply returned matters to health.
